Voidfarer FAQ

If you are logged out, locked articles like lore, blogs, or downloads are displayed with an icon indicating they are for our Voidfarers, Voidseers, and/or Voidmasters. They are automatically unlocked when you sign in to your account. The downloads you are entitled to are accessible from the Voidfarers dropdown at the top of the website while you are signed in.

Our account system is passwordless. When you sign in to your account, you have the option of either using a one-time passcode or a "magic link" that will authenticate you. These are sent to you by email. You can change your email in account settings. When you clear your browser's cookies, you will need to sign in this way once again.

First, join the Sublight Games Discord server. TBD: In any channel (we suggest #support), type /link [email protected]. Make sure a command palette appears. A bot will grant you the Voidfarer role.

Kickstarter backers are entitled to one year of Voidfarer tier access. If you need assistance enabling this entitlement on our new website, please first make a free account and contact support through the Account page. Please have your Kickstarter email address on-hand for verification.

Sublight Games is artist-owned and LGBTQ-led. We believe creativity — particularly that which is necessary to provide entertainment and tell fantastic stories — is labor just like any other. There is no AI slop machine. There is no pro bono work when it comes to a an intellectual property examining the human condition. Upholding our principles means we must market our products for a reasonable fee.

Your subscription fee goes directly toward conjuring new worlds from the aether with very little overhead. There is no studio. We are remote-first. Sublight Games is a collective of creatives; most from underrepresented communities in the entertainment and gaming industries.

You may always cancel your subscription with us at any time; even if you only subscribe for a month to grab the latest goodies. Simply select Cancel Subscription on the Account page and you will not be charged on the next billing date.

Stardust is a transmedia sci-fi adventure developed by Sublight Games. It is a living story, played out on tabletops world over. In the world of Stardust, players assume the role of Voidfarers: augmented adventurers who strike out on their own or with an Outfit to find fortunes in the blackness of space.

Sublight Games is an independent developer of impactful tabletop and wargaming experiences. Founded in 2021 by a pair of industry-hardened creatives seeking more freedom to innovate, Sublight is a game company without investors, offices, or typical workdays.
